Are you an experienced Mechanical Fitter ready to embark on an adventure in the picturesque Ruapehu region of New Zealand? We're looking for three dedicated individuals to join our clients maintenance team at their operational sites, crafting wood pulp products and sawn timber for both local and global markets.

About the Role:
As a Mechanical Fitter, you'll play a crucial part in maintaining heavy machinery and plant equipment.

Your technical prowess will be put to the test as you tackle tasks ranging from hydraulic systems to lathe and milling machinery.

If you're certified in Fitting and Turning or hold a National Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, we want to hear from you

Requirements:

  • Experience in an industrial setting, preferably Sawmilling or similar industry
  • Proficiency in workplace Health and Safety systems
  • Physical fitness and mental alertness for demanding tasks
  • Willingness to participate in oncall roster and overtime
  • Full Class One New Zealand driver's license with Forklift endorsement or ability to obtain

$ $45.00 per hour

Experience:

  • Industrial setting: 2 years (preferred)
