About The Role:

Accounts Receivable Officer - 4 Month Fixed Term Contract


This fixed term role in our Shared Services team is responsible for managing all processes relating to Accounts Receivables and maintaining key data.


Accountabilities:

  • Ensure incoming payments are processed accurately on a timely basis.
  • Working with appropriate customer finance functions to remind them of due dates on invoices, chase overdue invoices and to process remittance advices.
  • Process credit notes, sundry invoices and debit adjustments correctly, in line with the delegated authorities policy and on a timely basis.
  • Process electronic file uploads in to SAP (Dole, intercompany and export pricing).
  • Review customer master data in SAP and other systems.
  • Provide adhoc reporting to Market Coordinators as appropriate, including reports detailing the causes of credit and debit note transactions posted to customer accounts.
  • Preparation of general ledger reconciliations and journals as per the accounting timetable.
  • Assist with other Finance tasks as and when required.
  • Ongoing development, implementation and improvement of internal controls and processes.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • At least one years' experience in an Accounts Receivable role.
  • Previous general accounting experience (Accounts Receivable, general ledger journals and reconciliations) gained in a commercial enterprise.
  • Understanding of accounting processes and procedures.
  • Computer skills including SAP and Microsoft products.
  • Medium to advanced Excel experience is required.
