We are searching for a resilient Director of Co-curricular Activities to join our talented team at Scots College in Wellington Central, Wellington.

If you are strong in presentation, negotiation and have the right vision for the job, then apply for the position of Director of Co-curricular Activities at Scots College todayThe position of Director of Co-curricular Activities (DOCA) at Scots College is a newly created position and reflects not only the high level of importance that we place on this area but also the recent significant growth that has occurred across the College.

This is a senior leadership level position and need not have a teaching component although we are open to considering this for the right candidate.

Ideally commencing in late July, this is a fulltime, permanent position with oversight of all sporting, cultural and EOTC areas.

The successful applicant will oversee a large team including: The Sports Administrator, Sports Assistant and Directors of various sporting codes The Cultural Coordinator EOTC Staff With a national and international reputation for excellence, Scots College is a world-class independent school with a strong Presbyterian heritage.

A co-educational, IB World School in Wellington New Zealand, it comprises three schools in one; Junior (1-6), Middle and Senior

The successful applicant will have:

A broad experience in sport/cultural management at a regional or national level Previous management experience A proven ability to manage staff The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines A current knowledge of Health and Safety and the ability to apply this practically while ensuring compliance Excellent communication skills Experience in working with and developing young people A clean working with children check and police vet Applications close on Friday 7 June 2024, and are to include a covering letter and current CV (including the names of at least two referees).
