Te Whatu Ora - Waitematā**We are looking for an experienced NZ Registered Social Worker to join our friendly team at Te Whatu Ora - Waitematā. We are looking for a Social Worker with demonstrated leadership skills and experience, and a strong clinical background who is self-motivated and enjoys working in a flexible and challenging environment.


The role of the Advanced Clinician is to provide clinical leadership across the social work team by demonstrating advanced knowledge and clinical practice within the area of acute care social work including but not exclusively emergency department, medical and surgical wards, through to rehabilitation services.

The role includes providing high-quality, patient-centered, evidence-based approach to the assessment, management and treatment of patients within an interdisciplinary team as well as working closely alongside the Clinical Leader to identify, implement and evaluate improvements within the acute social work service and actively participate in Te Whatu Ora - Waitematā initiatives.


To be successful in this role you will need to have at least seven years' experience including at least three recent years' experience in the acute setting and experience working in a Social Work Team.
