Our Opportunity

We currently have an opportunity for a Transport Planner within our North Island team, who will have responsibility to ensure the efficient and cost-effective movement of GFNZ's freight volumes as guided by our Transport Strategy.

In order to achieve this, your key responsibilities will include:

• From data created by production sites, ensure each load is manifested accurately and above minimum utilization levels
• Communicate to production sites and transport providers load allocations for both inbound and outbound loads
• Monitor, record and report actual utilisation versus target levels
• Participate in the investigation of negative and positive variances including identifying opportunities for reducing/eliminating cost

About You
In order to make this role a success, we are looking for someone who can demonstrate the previous experience and skillsets:

• Transport/Logistics experience within an FMCG environment
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including maintaining supplier and vendor relationships
• Comfortable in dealing with data and some exposure to modelling would be useful as the team transforms
• Knowledge of NZ Road Transport Law
• Experience of working with a Transport Management System
• Food Safety Knowledge
