We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team based from our depot in Hornby, Christchurch as a Metro Class 2 Truck Driver.

We would like to hear from applicants with who have previous Class 2 driving experience, especially those who desire to make their career in road transport.

This is a full time role, working Monday to Friday involving driving and delivery work in Christchurch and around the greater Canterbury area.


We are looking for a person who can demonstrate the following:

  • Holds a clean full Class 2 Driver Licence
  • Resides in Christchurch area and has an excellent geographical knowledge of the wider Canterbury province
  • Is physically fit
  • Displays a good understanding, awareness and ownership of health and safety in the workplace
  • Holding a current F Endorsement or OSH Forklift certification would be an advantage but not essential as we can help you obtain these with on the job training
  • Proven ability to work independently and within a team
  • Is reliable and has the desire to be part of a winning team
