As part of our awesome Frontline you will work collaboratively with the Retail Lead (Store Manager) and Area Lead to support a team of Customer Champions within a Retail Store.

The Assistant Store Manager is the most senior role in the store in the absence of the Retail Lead, who is responsible for coaching and mentoring the Customer Champions and enabling them to work towards KPIs.


Please note:
the roster includes weekends and public holidays.

Ko tō mahi - what you'll do Support the Retail Lead to lead a team of Customer Champions Work closely with the Retail Lead, Area Lead, Market Lead, HRBP and People & Planning to ensure employee resource requirements are met, including the creation of rosters Ensure customers are completely satisfied with their One New Zealand Retail experience i.e.

their needs and expectations are met or exceeded Deliver the sales numbers Work closely with the Retail Lead and the Talent Acquisition team to recruit new team members Ensure the growth and development of your team in conjunction with the Retail Lead and Enablement team Work with the Retail Lead to ensure the operational running of the store Na tōu rourou - what you'll bring Retail or Telecommunications experience is preferred Experience working to Sales targets At least 6-12 months of experience coaching, mentoring or managing others Aspirations to be a people leader.
