Te Tūranga - The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a repair technician to join our Production Team. The role will work to investigate issues and provide timely solutions to keep our production teams humming

This role diagnoses, repairs and tests electronic assemblies for Taits radio and critical communications products.

It also plays a key role in contributing feedback to Product Support and Product Development on Design and Manufacturing issues.

As well as contributing to our strong culture of teamwork and learning via collaboration and sharing knowledge.

The duties of the role will include:

  • Diagnose, repair and test electronic assemblies for radio and critical communications products.
  • Ensure our products receive the highest standard of alignment, testing and repair prior to being shipped to our customers.
  • Locate and correct manufacturing faults.
  • Monitor the performance of test equipment.

To be successful in this role, you will have

As well as:

  • Have a passion for electronics, supported by experience in testing and/or assembling electronic components or circuit boards, and a broad technical interest in radio systems fundamentals.
  • Be a selfreliant achiever with excellent organisational skills and the ability to work with a wide variety of people. A "handson, cando attitude" and a methodical and meticulous approach to your work will be highly beneficial.
  • Ideally have a New Zealand Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Level 6), or an equivalent tertiary qualification.
