What we expect of you, day to day:

  • Edit and engineer audio content to a high standard on a regular basis across a range of projects (including podcasts and imaging/promos)
  • Effectively work with Producers to deliver and/or procure quality audio
  • Drive innovation by experimenting with different formats and storytelling techniques for both new and existing commissions
  • Generate and follow up on audio ideas without prompting
  • Ensure audio is catalogued and documented
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Provide training and support to the wider team
  • Given the startup nature of the audio division, be flexible and open minded in your approach and to new ways of operation

What you'll bring:

  • Audio editor/engineer with relevant qualifications and work experience
  • A passion for audio content creation, podcasting and storytelling
  • Experience with audio editing software such as Pro Tools
  • Experience in managing audio recording sessions and production schedules
  • Excellent communication skills, and an ability to enthuse, persuade and engage internal and external stakeholders at every level
  • Highly developed planning and organising skills
  • Ability to manage several areas of work at one time, prioritising, delivering consistently to deadlines and reacting positively to changes and conflicting priorities
