What will you be doing?
This Senior Engineer will play a central role in the engineering team.

You will be working closely with a team of specialists covering various disciplines including mechanical, electrical, control systems and robotics.

So, the opportunity to continue broadening your experience and exposure across these areas very much exists and you will be supported with a thorough introduction to our products, systems, clients, and ways of working.

Whilst you will be involved in the full project life cycle of industrial robotic systems development the primary focus of your role will be to take the customers' bespoke requirements and engage your engineering expertise to develop a full engineering concept design both confidently and accurately.

What will you need to be successful?

  • Solid experience (8+ years) in automated factory machinery/industrial robotics design
  • A relevant engineering qualification
  • Confidence to engineer complex and bespoke concept designs
  • Experience supporting projects across the full 'turnkey solutions' lifecycle
  • Desire to work in a small, highly collaborative engineering team environment
  • Proficient with 3D CAD (ideally SolidWorks)
  • Ability to live and work in Christchurch, New Zealand
  • The legal rights to work in New Zealand
  • We are not looking to sponsor a work visa on this occasion.
