Ko wai koe | About You
We provide over 26,000 anaesthetics a year across the range of general and sub-specialty Anaesthesia.

We are fully accredited for all levels of training by the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA) and have strong academic links with the University of Otago through the Christchurch School of Medicine.

  • You will have completed PGY2 by January 2024 to be eligible for a Senior House Officer position
  • Knowledge and commitment of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and how the principles can be applied to health.
  • A willingness to grow and further develop an equity lens and skillset, both to assist Māori and minority groups.
  • Enhance your career with first class training and supervision from the Medical Education & Training Unit (METU)
  • Be supported by our Resident Doctors
  • Support Team (RDST)
