About our client

Our client is based in Albany and in West Auckland and are specialists in their field in the Civil Industry who are looking for General Labourers either skilled or non skilled.

These roles will provide you with long term career opportunities and the ability to learn new skills, obtain extra licences and qualifications while working on the job.


About the role:


The role involves handling residential works which is located either in West Auckland or the North Shore with vehicles provided to get you there.

It's hands on work that includes installation and service and repair of water pipes and mains.

The role is physical and although skilled people who know how to use power tools is preferred, it is not essential to have as long as you are keen and willing to learn and physically fit and able.

On the job training is provided


The position is Monday to Friday with a start time of 7am to 7.30 am to attend the daily toolbox meeting and work through to 4.30 pm.

Some overtime is as when required and can fluctuate week by week depending on the workload. This is a temp assignment that can easily lead to permanent employment.

What do you need to have for this role:

  • A full Class 1 driver's licence
  • A cando attitude and keen to learn new skills or a new trade
  • Be reliable and motivated to turn up for work each day
