CNC Machinist
We are looking for someone with machine shop experience or if this is a field of interest, an apprenticeship is also available

What's the role?

  • Running CNC machine tools
  • Part manufacture and modification using manual machines
  • Installing mechanical components into bandsaws.
  • Assembling subassembly components including; bearing assemblies, braking system and trigger mechanism

We will provide you with:

Training will be provided on our machines and manufacturing systems. The manufacturing capability includes inhouse fabrication, welding, manual machining and CNC machines.

Who are you?

  • CNC machinery experience and knowledge essential [Okuma DMG experience is advantageous]
  • NZ trained trade qualification in Machining & Toolmaking, Fitting and Turning, General Engineering or at least 4 year's experience in a NZ based machine shop
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to selfmanage and work to deadlines.
  • A methodical, careful and tidy work ethic.
  • Good knowledge of H&S protocols

Salary:
$ $42.00 per hour
