Tyler Wren is representing an established Insurance business who are looking to add a Broker Support to their team located in Christchurch.


The Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively communicate with clients and internal stakeholders, inbound and outbound conversations
  • Identify opportunities with each client interaction
  • Following up on Quotes and new clients through agreed Service Level Agreements
  • Onboarding of new clients
  • Review and Process client queries and renewals including any policy maintenance requirements
  • Assist administratively across Personal Lines; Commercial Lines
  • Assess client enquiries promptly
  • Liaise with Insurers

About you:

  • 2+ Years experience across General Insurance, preferably Commercial Business Risk, Commercial underwriting would be considered
  • Studying towards or completing NZ Certificate in Financial Services Level
  • ANZIIF, preferable
  • Good planning and organisation skills
  • Ability to be able to adapt to change
  • Ability to multitask and can cope at the times with working under pressure
  • Negotiation and influencing skills would be advantageous
  • Problemsolving and decisionmaking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
