Our client, a well-established glass company with an excellent reputation for quality work, is seeking an experienced and skilled glazier to join their team in Wellington.

The successful person can tell us what sort of pay rate they expect but in return we'll expect you to have a proven track record of quality work on commercial and residential projects.

You'll also have the ability to work independently when required but as part of a team when required.

Responsibilities:

  • Measure, cut and install glass in both commercial and residential structures.
  • Working with the wider team and other tradies on renovations of highend residential jobs.
  • Provide expert advice on glass selection, design, and installation techniques.
  • Prepare surfaces for installation, including cleaning and sealing.
  • Remove and dispose of old or damaged glass.
  • Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Manage and mentor junior team members as required.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a glazier with a minimum of 3 year's experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of glass products and installation techniques.
  • Good physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects.
  • A strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
