My client is a well-established and respected manufacturer and distributor of lighting products, for both residential and commercial purposes. They are a down-to-earth organisation with an inclusive culture, where everyone is treated equally.

Here is a highly sought-after opportunity to join this young, dynamic business as a Junior Designer. You will be working alongside some of the best in this really neat opportunity, which will appeal to an industrial design graduate or a technically capable person looking for a trainee role

The right fit is pivotal to this role.

You will have a supportive team around you and the ability to work on a wide variety of projects, with all the necessary training provided.


About the role:

  • Work closely with the Lead Designer to design and create customised products
  • Create detailed installation drawings
  • Attend meetings with internal stakeholders when required
  • Manage the drawings catalogue
  • Work with the Lead Designer to ensure designs are manufactured to design intention

About you:

  • You have an industrial design degree or similar (desirable but not essential)
  • You are mechanically minded and have an interest with technical products
  • You are hardworking, switched on, very dedicated and can take direction well
  • You are looking for your work family, somewhere you can truly make a difference not just a job
  • You are very quick when it comes to learning new software
