Te Mahi - About the job


Be part of a busy team that delivers an essential service for RNZ National and RNZ Concert, hourly and half-hourly, 24/7.


We work with Reporters, News Editors and Programme Editors to organise and prioritise stories, sub copy to meet RNZ's high standards and exercise both accuracy and flair at pace to compile news bulletins.


Ōu Pūkenga - About You

We are looking for a team player with:

  • experience reporting or subbing
- excellent command of grammar and a wide vocabulary
- sound editorial judgement and knowledge of media law
- good time and self-management skills.

Experience in radio would also be an advantage.
