CREST
is at the forefront of community-based
healthcare working with clients in their safety and rehabilitation needs in their own homes and we're looking for our next clinical superstar
CREST
delivers a short, sharp service up to six weeks, where no two days are alike, focusing on helping people
return home from hospital and supporting clients to remain well at home with
rehabilitation and treatment and support services. You will use your knowledge and expertise to enable clients to return living their best lives and self manage.

As this role requires you to be out in the community, you'll be able to work autonomously but be backed by a comprehensive inter-disciplinary team.

As an

Occupational Therapist you will be required to look at clients holistically but focus on the details to meet their safety and rehabilitation needs at home.

This role has Monday to Friday regular office hours with some flexibility around hours.
Ko wai koe | About You

  • Undertaking occupational
therapy assessments and developing and implementing intervention and
treatment plans in conjunction with the client and whanau;

  • Assess, inform, coach and rehabilitate clients in their health journey
  • Managing and prioritising a
busy caseload;

  • Carrying out assessments and
treatments plans in a holistic manner with a view to possible referral to
other disciplines and support agencies;

  • Take pride in supporting clients to navigate the health system and enable great outcomes
  • You will be able to work autonomously in the community while being backed by a comprehansive in
  • Ensuring timely assessment of patient needs on discharge to ensure optimum support is provided as they return to their homes (For

  • Skills and Experience
  • The ability to hit the
ground running with the energy and passion to deliver a high standard of
care to patients;

  • Flexibility and adaptability
to work as a member of an inter-disciplinary team;

  • Enthusiasm for knowledge
sharing across and beyond your discipline;

  • The ability to establish an
early rapport with patients and families, and interact with a wide range
of people from varying backgrounds;

  • As this is a community
position and travel is required, a full NZ Driver - s license is essential;

  • Registration with the NZ
Occupational Therapy Board and an Annual Practicing Certificate is
essential;

  • Demonstrated specialty area
experience and professional development is preferable.
