Monday to Friday

We require 1 courier Driver.

Must have required license OR the capability to obtain one.

Salary will be from $30 per hour depending on the capability. Minimum working hours will be 32.

Job description will include but will not be limited to;
Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers.

Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance

Operate vehicle into positions to ensure proper position for loading and unloading

Plan routes and meet delivery schedules

Keep a log of their activities

Follow all applicable traffic laws

Make sure that all loading documents are in order

Document and log work/rest periods and kilometers spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts

Comply with driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures

Keep the vehicle and associated equipment clean and in good working order

Inspect the vehicle before and after the trip, and record any defects that they find

Maneuver vehicle into loading or unloading positions

Collect and verify delivery instructions

Report defects, accidents or violations

Any visa welcome

Clear criminal records

Driver's operating skills will be tested

Ability to commute/relocate:

Auckland Central, Auckland:
Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:
Drivers Licence (preferred)

Dangerous Goods License (preferred)

Salary:
$ $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

  • Performance bonus
