Āu Mahi | What You Will Do


Your experience as an experienced QA professional will support Digital at UC in ensuring quality delivery of a variety of projects with significant business impact.


You will be working with supportive and motivated teams to test in-house and vendor-supplied systems, creating, and executing test plans and scenarios, both manual and test automation and manage UAT testing with engaged business stakeholders.

This project is both high profile and high priority project for the university and as such the ability to hit the ground running is essential.


You will improve quality throughout Digital Services by sharing QA knowledge and skills to our teams and expand your skills by learning from more experienced colleagues.


We are seeking team players, with strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail while being able to see the bigger picture to ensure successful project delivery.

Your skills in writing test scripts, producing test cases and documenting defects and test results will be valuable.

Mōu | Who You Are

You will have strong problem-solving abilities, experience testing mobile apps using both manual test techniques and test automation within a cloud-based environment, preferably using TypeScript using Appium or WebDriverIO in a cloud-based platform such as BrowserStack.


You will also have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a Computing, Commerce or Financerelated discipline or equivalent.
  • A recognized testing certification will be an advantage.
  • Experience of modern testing technologies and will be comfortable working in an agile team.
  • Experience creating regression tests.
You will have a strong customer service ethic and will be responsible to both internal and external clients. You will have worked successfully in cross-functional teams and will have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
