We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an Enterprise Risk Specialist with 5+ years of relevant experience to join us.

The role is open to work from any of our New Zealand offices including Auckland, Hamilton, Tauranga, Wellington, Nelson or Christchurch and offers working from home flexibility.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a risk specialist, generalist, environmental advisor, or management systems implementor.

You will be involved in:

  • Coordinating, operating, and maintaining our internal management systems, particularly our environmental management system but also including risk management, and quality management.
  • Working on the continual improvement of these systems in collaboration with key stakeholders, showcasing and debating best practice models.
  • Reporting on environmental performance to various management and governance forums.
  • Involvement in key internal projects to conduct risk assessments, reporting to the project lead and other key stakeholders on the effectiveness of the control environment in relation to key project risks.

  • You will be confident, knowledgeable, and experienced in implementing business systems improvement programmes, and leading change management initiatives.
  • Experience in improving business systems within an organisation that has undergone periods of transition and growth.
  • A relevant tertiary and / or professional qualification.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements and current risk management methodology.
  • Strong focus on business risk management, environmental management systems, quality improvement, and information technology.
  • Customer driven and actively looks for opportunities to improve services and solve problems.
  • Strong project management and analytical skills.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, particularly in negotiation, influencing and leadership on key business improvement risk strategies.
  • Strategic thinker who can influence, earn respect, and deal with conflict in a constructive manner.
  • Excellent eye for detail.
  • Ability to make sound decisions.
  • Selfmotivated and selfdisciplined.
  • Proactive and enthusiastic.
