Our welcoming Maungaturoto Campus is seeking a teacher aide who will work alongside students across Year in a variety of programmes to support their learning needs.

This includes one-to-one support around literacy and numeracy, and additional reader/writer support.

This is a fixed-term (25 hours per week, term-time only) appointment until December 2024.

While induction will be provided, the following experience and skills are necessary:

  • Experience (or an interest in) working with young people.
  • An understanding of supporting young people with learning and communication challenges.
  • Excellent relationship building and communication skills.
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and digital learning platforms (e.g. Zoom).
  • Patience, resilience and empathy.
