Job Summary
We are recruiting a Repatriation Coordinator to join our Healix team based in Albany, Auckland, NZ.

Healix Medical Services provides a 24 hour medical advisory and worldwide repatriation and evacuation service.

Working alongside the medical team, you will be responsible for the coordination of all repatriation and evacuation cases, manage the escort availability roster and participate in escort audits.

You will have excellent communication and negotiation skills and the ability to prioritise your work whilst meeting client expectations.

Key responsibilities in this role will be:

• Setting up and co-ordinating all HMS medical evacuation and repatriation cases
• Liaising with suppliers, clients, medical escorts and HMS nursing team to ensure the safe and efficient transfer of patients
• Management of escort availability roster
• Participation in the escort audit programme
• Assisting the Global Provider Network team with identifying providers in new locations in order to meet the needs of clients

What we are looking for:

We are looking for experienced coordinators, if possible with prior knowledge of working with a medical environment, an international repatriation/evacuation setting, or the travel insurance sector.

In addition some, or all, the following areas of expertise would be desirable:

• A calm, diplomatic open style and approach, with excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• PC skills with good knowledge of Microsoft packages.
• Proactive approach to work and analytical problem solving skills.
• The ability to plan and organise own workload, and work well under pressure.
• The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
