3 December 2023Our client located within the health sector in Otahuhu is looking for an experienced stores person with Class 1 Drivers licence and experience driving a manual van to assist with back up Metro driving from time to time and to work within a busy inwards team.

This role is starting asap working full time hours for 3 months and possibly longer

Duties include:

  • Manually receiving stock into the Hospital
  • Receipting stock
  • Putting stock away
  • Replenishing different departments using trolleys to move stock
  • Assisting with Stocktakes and ordering stock as required
  • Moving stock to community departments around the Metro (class 1 license required) from time to time. Driving a Manual Van
  • Stock takes
  • Manually loading and unloading the van when making deliveries
  • Other adhoc duties as required

To be considered for this role you will ideally have:

  • A clean Class 1 drivers license
  • Experience driving a manual van
  • Some previous stores experience and ability to move stock manually as this is a big part of the job.
  • No back problems as some lifting is involved
  • A pro active can do attitude
  • A good attention to detail
