THE ROLE


As a Deployment Engineer, you will assist the project manager to deploy network, hardware, and software solutions for a range of clients.

You'll enjoy participating in all phases of the design, test, and implementation process, helping to modify the project scope, helping to identify and troubleshoot problems with implementation or efficiency.

As the key coordinator of all site activities, you'll liaise with a range of relevant parties alongside managing key sub-contracting partners to improve delivery and business flexibility.


WHAT YOU'RE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Design, build, configure and commissions devices, networks and systems and ensures systems interconnect with equipment from different manufacturers, service providers and users.
  • Compile engineering project proposals to define goals, identify scope, and determine project costs.
  • Evaluate and procure new products and services.
  • Prepare and interpret specifications, drawings, and regulations for the use of equipment.
  • Creates Design Briefs to enable safe and efficient cell site construction, including all passive and active RAN equipment.
  • Establish and maintain short/long range schedules and forecasts including all resources, material, and personnel.
  • Provide high level planning and programming of labor, plant, and equipment**
  • Strong focus and understanding of Commercial KPI's, client relationships and build standards.
  • Accurately complete all project documentation, updating job tracking and Project Management tools
    .

WHAT SKILLS & EXPERIENCE YOU NEED

  • 5 years + experience in a similar role or you have hands on experience in Cell Site construction and upgrades.
  • Previous telecommunications or civil engineering experience.
  • Tertiary and Industry specific vocational qualification preferred.
  • Leadership skills, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Prior experience in dealing with, developing and motivating staff.
  • Experience in an operations management role
  • Advanced MS Office
  • Valid driver's license
