Their products are of exceptional quality and high standards, and they are proudly kiwi owned.

If you're looking for a role to sit in your ivory throne, directing traffic, this isn't the role for you

What will you do?
As CFO you will be responsible for the overall financial control, strategic planning and forward projections, as well as providing valuable insights from a financial perspective, to help aid key decisions to be made for this well-respected group of companies, as you:

  • Develop, construct and monitor effective financial systems
  • Establish and maintain yearly budget and rolling cash flow forecast projections
  • Manage financial strategic and operational objectives / initiatives
  • Perform, track and analyse actual performance to projections
  • Track costing to ensure key performance indicators / targets are met
  • Perform financial reporting to key government customers to meet contractual requirements
  • Ensure compliance with financial banking covenants
  • Oversee all debtor, creditor and accounting functions
  • Provide detailed management accounts and financial recommendations to the Management Team as and when required
  • Yearend and Month-End reporting
  • Manage all tax compliance and efficiencies in conjunction with our CEO and Board

Who are you?

With significant experience under your belt in senior professional accounting roles, you'll join us ideally from the construction, housing, property or associated sectors, although a background in cost accounting from another industry, would be just as favourable.

You are an engaging leader, but also happy to get your hands dirty, no job is too big or too small for you to tackle, for the betterment of the organisation.

You are empathetic and get along well with others, but are steadfast and direct in your approach.

You will be working closely with the rest of the leadership team and owners, so the ability to build relationships swiftly, will be imperative.

You enjoy working on bau tasks, but also enjoy technology and continuous improvements, knowing that these efficiencies lead to cost savings and time better spent by all.

If this role sounds like you, you're ready to partner with some amazing entrepreneurs, and get the work done to drive the business forward, then we would love to talk to you.

On offer

You'll notice that we've not asked for you to be CA Qualified. CA is not a necessity for this role, we're after someone with real world commercial expertise, and the ability to be practical, rather than theoretical. We envisage, you'll have at least 10 years of senior experience under your belt, to have the vast array of skills and capabilities, we're seeking.
**We offer a very generous salary commensurate with your level of seniority, a chance to truly make this partnering role your own, plus the chance to work on projects and be part of something of an exceptionally high quality.
