Job Description:
Responsible for the smooth running of kitchen
Preparation, Seasoning and Cooking of food
Must check the food quality of raw and cooked dishes
Must be able to cook all authentic Indian curries
Plan food requirements for dressing and ensure great presentation
Estimating food requirements on day to day basis
Ordering required kitchen materials
Storing/labelling food in fridges
May train other staff in kitchen
Able to use temperature controlled cooking equipments
To ensure the kitchen waste is kept minimum
Maintain kitchen cleanliness
Ensuring personal hygiene and maintain high standards of health and safety at all times
