Seatoun Kindergarten is located in the seaside suburb of Seatoun. The kindergarten has wonderful support from the community and parents.

Seatoun Kindergarten is situated next to Seatoun Primary School.

We are licenced for 42 children who attend for 6 hours each day. You will join our team of 4 other teachers.

This role.

6 Teacher (24 hours per week) is worked over the following days:

Monday (5 hours pm (including 1/2hr unpaid break)

Tuesday (5 hours pm (including 1/2hr unpaid break)

Wednesday (4 hours pm

Thursday (5 hours pm (including 1/2hr unpaid break)

Friday (5 hours pm (including 1/2hr unpaid break)

We are looking for an ECE teacher who:

  • contributes effectively to a positive team culture, through collaboration and demonstrating flexibility and respect, appreciating a range of perspectives.
- has great communication and is competent at developing and establishing warm relationships with the kindergarten community.
- is using Te Reo and Tikanga Māori in everyday teaching practice in ways that recognise the unique status of tangata whenua in Aotearoa New Zealand.
- has the knowledge, skills and experience to strengthen the kindergarten's localised curriculum alongside the teaching team.
