You don't need a white coat or have a science degree, but showing common sense and the willingness to learn - our lab team will invest their time in you and show you the ropes to develop you into the role.

About the role:

  • Monday to Friday 7:30am 5:00pm with the occasional Saturday morning
  • Identify and assess the quality of the aggregate we produce by conducting a variety of tests to test strength, measure size and make up
  • Actively participate in the daytoday operations by identifying, collecting and testing aggregate samples and/or materials
  • Testing materials in accordance with laboratory systems, policies and procedures and to customer specification
  • Opportunity to travel to other quarries to conduct testing

Things to consider to be successful in this role:

  • Experience in civil or geotechnical engineering and quality assurance OR recently left school or University Graduate
  • you will also be considered
  • You'll need to be a good listener and more than anything, able to follow testing instructions
  • Enjoy working in a physical role repetitive lifting up to 25kg
  • Hold a full New Zealand driver's licence
  • Health, Safety and Environmental awareness
  • Must be a New Zealand Citizen or Resident
