The client is at the forefront of New Zealand's renewable energy transition with a strong project pipeline for 2024 and beyond.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Installation Supervisor, you will be required to work hands-on managing a tight installation program on a major wind farm on New Zealand's North Island.

The Installation technicians will be required to work hands on to ensure quality and safety standards a met.

Duties

• Actively participate in WHSE, toolbox and daily prestart meetings
• Assist in the completion of Wind Turbine installation
• Handson installation and commissioning of turbine components
• Complete wind farm quality records for all tasks
• Maintain good working relationships with all stakeholders
• Assist in achieving targeted wind farm performance standards

Skills and Experience

• Previous Wind Turbine Installation experience essential
• GWO training certificate
• Siemens DD Turbine experience preferable
• Qualifications in Electrical/Mechanical or related field
• Good knowledge of construction site practices applicable legislation and QS
• Able to work long rotations in New Zealand
