An exciting opportunity awaits an enthusiastic registered nurse with strong leadership abilities and extensive clinical expertise to take on the role of Associate Clinical Charge Nurse across Elective Surgery Centre and Tōtara Haumaru.

This role would be based at our new state-of-the-art facility Tōtara Haumaru hospital building. Tōtara Haumaru is due to open in 2024 and will provide up to eight extra operating theatres, four new endoscopy suites and up to 150 new beds
- helping us meet the needs of our vibrant, fast-growing and culturally diverse population of over 643,000 people.


As a cutting-edge public health provider in New Zealand, ESC/ Tōtara Haumaru offers dedicated care to patients requiring surgery in orthopaedics, general surgery, plastics, gynaecology, urology, or ORL specialties.

Operating theatre sessions are scheduled Monday to Friday between 0730 and 1800.


The ACCN plays a vital role in ensuring exceptional patient care during surgery and supporting nursing staff in their professional development.

This role involves serving as the theatre floor coordinator, collaborating with the theatre manager to uphold efficiency and quality of care.
