Who are we looking for:

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join us as our Reserves Planner


In this role you will drive the strategic direction of parks and facilities by working collaboratively with various departments, local communities, developers, stakeholders, and iwi groups.

Setting the direction for parks and facilities will be achieved by managing and implementing the strategic documents such as Reserve Management Plans, Open Spaces and Facility Strategies, Bylaws and Policies.


We're looking for someone that's passionate for the outdoors, is an experienced problem solver and who is motivated, willing to learn and who thinks on their feet.

Experience in strategic or consent planning, sports and recreation or similar would be advantageous but not essential.


To be successful in this role you will need to have excellent customer relationships and communication skills, pay attention to detail and manage your time effectively.

Ability to interpret and understand polices, plans and legislation will be important.


This role is one year fixed-term (maternity cover) ideally full-time but flexibility on reduced or part-time hours can be discussed.
