You must have the skills to effectively supervise, coach and mentor less experienced staff, and build compliance and enforcement capability.

You will have the communications and relationship management skills to influence positive behaviour change and build strong and effective relationships with agency stakeholders.

You will also have the knowledge, technical expertise and skills to actively support the Manager, Compliance and Enforcement with the leadership and management of the Commissioner's compliance and enforcement work.

Compliance Officer

You have the attention to detail to receive and accurately process privacy breach notifications to the Privacy Commissioner, and the discernment to follow up as required and to alert the team to breaches that may be likely to cause serious or widespread harm to individuals, or otherwise raise serious concern.

You have the analytical and communications skills to begin to undertake investigations and a range of other compliance activities, supported by more experienced members of the compliance team.
