We are currently looking for experienced Medical Sciences Council registered Phlebotomists (QPT/QMLT) to join our team at Counties Manukau District.

We have x1 full time and x1 part time 0.8FTE 6 month fixed term contract available. The successful applicants will work across Middlemore Hospital and Manukau Health Park.

The position will be 5 days per week rostered shift work. Flexibility with working hours is required, to participate in the weekend roster.

Experience in blood collection for all age groups and previous experience in Intravenous Cannulation is desirable.


We are looking for the right person to join our team, so if you are flexible, organised team player and likes working with people from diverse backgrounds, this is the role for you.


Essential:

  • Registered QPT/QMLT or able to obtain registration from the Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand
  • Able to collect samples from adults, children and neonates
