Trade Assistant

Manukau, Auckland, New Zealand J P Electrical & Services Ltd Full time
Assist the electricians in installing electrical systems and equipment.

  • Assist with the maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Use different types of tools like hand and power tools to perform various electrical tasks.
  • Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the management
  • Replacement of power meter modem, site visit,
  • Check faults in the modem and accordingly help the electrician.
  • Help with store work, assist in other management activities and general labour.
  • Work on asbestos post adequate training at the job.
  • Assisting in lifting the material and loading/unloading the supplies.
  • Assisting during the repair and breakdown.
You will be required to work for a
minimum of 32 hours per week.

  • Related skills and knowledge will be highly preferred
  • Attention to detail
  • Quick learner
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Available to work on weekends
  • Physically fit to carry out all the required tasks

Salary:
$ $31.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Weekend availability
