Allied Petroleum is a national bulk fuel distributor and lubricant specialist. We pride ourselves on delivering a great customer services experience from our Support Services Team. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a team player attitude to join us. The role is based in Wigram Christchurch.
The role of an Administration Cadet is designed in a way that engages and motivates the cadet to reach their potential.
Cadetships offer the opportunity to learn and develop a range of administration skills and gain crucial experience for any career in administration.
This role is a fantastic opportunity for a school leaver.
You bring the can-do attitude, self-motivation and drive and we'll supply all the experience needed to kick start your career in administration.
Skills that you will learn:
- High volume Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Payroll
- End of month processes and reporting
- General office management duties, including filing, data entry and mail distribution, ordering stationery and reception cover
- Effectively resolve customer queries in a timely manner
You will have.
- Enthusiasm and great people skills
- Initiative & selfmotivation
- A strong set of values, loyalty and integrity
- Ability to work as part of a team
NCEA Level
- A Class 1 Drivers License
- The ability to work legally which may include NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa
- Intermediate level computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Be a person who loves helping, is empathetic, supportive, and will strive to achieve great outcomes for our customers
- Great sense of humor and able to feel comfortable in a dynamic and changing environment
