Energy Analyst

Here's what you'll do in this job:

• Lead development of gross margin and other energy financial reporting and analysis
• Perform advanced analytical interpretation and reporting for revenue, NZX settlement submissions and returns, distribution and other costs, identifying opportunities to reduce cost and revenue leakage
• Develop and maintain compliance monitoring/reporting for operational processes which impact regulatory compliance or settlement.
• Perform detailed technical analysis of historic wholesale and hedging performance, and produce models, forecasts, and wholesale reports.

With at least 3 years' experience providing reporting, insights and data analysis in an electricity retail business, you will have a proven understanding of core retail energy processes and have had experience with Tableau or other equivalent reporting tools.

You will have proven analytical skills alongside the ability to understand and interpret technical, legal and regulatory documents.
