You will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive their deliveries in full on time and to the expected standards.

Since you will be actively involved in interacting with our customers, it is of great importance that you possess excellent communication skills
- both verbal and written.

This is a full-time position with 45-50 hours per week.

Driving duties:

As part of the role, you will be required to stage your freight in an organized manner and load your truck in the order of your run with the desire to achieve maximum efficiency.

Freight is hand-unloaded and trolleyed in to our clients businesses so a reasonable standard of fitness is required.

  • Hold a clean Class 1 or 2 license. Able to drive manual vehicle.
  • Meticulous attention to detail to manage tasks within assigned processes and organize workload to achieve desired results.
  • Good area knowledge of the Taranaki region.
  • Willingness to learn and strive for continuous improvement and attain additional driving licenses.
  • Be safe and take all reasonable precautions to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Hardworking, honest and reliable.
  • Fit for work. Keeping in mind that most of the freight is hand unloaded into customers businesses.
  • Computer/Smartphone literate.
  • Have reliable transport for commuting to work
The vacant position is based in New Plymouth.
