Reports to:
Store Manager
MISSION
To manage the fleet vehicles & customers yards to all Standard Operating Procedures & Service Level
Agreement requirements to satisfy customer requirements.
Maintain fleet vehicle & tools as per company standards.
Part of On-Call Roster
To help maintain the store and work within it as a team member when and as required.
To fit & service tyres and other products in a safe & correct fashion.
To provide customers with the best possible service.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Management
TASK EXPECTED RESULTS CONTROL INFORMATION
Stock Control Inform the person responsible for Stock Takes ordering tyres of any and all stock Fleet Check Sheets shortages that relate to any of your c ustomer needs
Ticket Retreads Each product is clearly identified with Retread Ticket Book the correct ticket(s) for cases beings Customer Surveys sent away for retreading.
Stock Takes Know what, if any stock is held off Stock Take Reports site. Help prepare & do stock-takes as required
Health & Safety
TASK EXPECTED RESULTS CONTROL INFORMATION
PPE All PPE gear should be used AT ALL Manager inspections
TIMES as & when required & you should be able to name what each piece is & when it is required
Safe Work Practices You must comply with & abide by AT Managers inspections
ALL TIMES all safe work practices in & Monthly H&S Observations out of the store, in company vehicles monitoring
& at customers yards. You should always use safe back care & lifting practices, know all the correct stacking

& storage procedures. Always follow the rules & practices regarding compressed air & inflation procedures.
Know how & what to do with zippers, and always follow vehicle jacking p rocedures.
Near Misses & Incidents Report all near misses, accidents & Managers inspections incidents to the Store Manager Safety Reports immediately & complete the forms p rovided
Training Participate in training as instructed by Managers checks
Managers. Keep up to date with v ehicles and equipment evolutions
H&S Documentation Know when and how to complete all Employee induction accident, hazard & near miss reports. Monthly H&S Meetings
How to complete a vehicle accident report & who to report it to. Follow & comply with all Work Safe, ACC &
Company Health & Safety policies & procedures.
Site Safety on & off roads Know Transit / Police requirements H&S monitoring when doing work on the side of the road, keeping yourself safe at all times.
Always "lock out" the vehicle you are working on, use hazard/service lights, cones as required.
Customers Yards Follow all Health & Safety Customer Inductions requirements of the company & the customer including signing in & out, site inductions etc
In Store
TASK EXPECTED RESULTS CONTROL INFORMATION
Tools & Equipment Check & maintain oil & grease as Fleet Service Person applicable in all air tools. Daily/Weekly Checks
Check & maintain all other tools including sockets, air lines, jacks, fitting machines etc. Know when & who to inform if the tool/machine is out of order or unsafe
Forecourt Sales & Service Support the team as and when Manager Observations & required in store with customer feedback requirements in a pro-active manner

All job cards need to be accounted for and handed in for processing daily
In Truck

Check & maintain all other tools including sockets, air lines, jacks, fitting machines etc. Know when & who to inform if the tool/machine is out of order or unsafe
Cleaning & Maintenance Maintain to a high standard the Manager inspections company vehicle, keep track of all registration, RUC & service requirements & inform the Store
Manager if they need servicing or replacing (in plenty of time)
Health & Safety Always carry the H&S Fleet book H&S Monthly Observations containing off-site inductions, Health
& Safety Policy, Dealer Directory,
MSDS sheets & Health & Safety Plan
Paperwork Complete accurate fleet service job Manager checks cards, recording vehicle details, Job Card book audits product & services required.
All commercial vehicles to have a torque sticker applied & it be explained to the driver their responsibilities for retorqueing.
