We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join on 12-month contract to work on our Business Hub rebuild project in our Business Management, this team are at the heart of improving the experience for our people and our customers, helping us deliver better, sooner and safer solutions.

ASB have a number of digital channels that allow direct 1-1 communication with our customers.

With data giving us a much better understanding of our customer's needs, our owned digital channels have become a key pillar of our marketing communications.


Te Tūranga | The role:


Reporting to the Product Manager Business Ecosystems this role will be responsible for building direct communications to customers via our owned digital channels primarily via the website, branch screens and authenticated channels.

You will provide specialist digital content and system management to the Digital Marketing and the wider marketing teams.

  • Working closely with Marketing Managers and Digital Tribes to produce customer friendly digital marketing webpages and features.
  • Develop and build content across ASB unauthenticated digital channels, including , FastNet Classic and inbranch digital signage.
  • Ensure quality and efficient content management through CMS, scheduling, creative execution & service across all channels for ASB stakeholders.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders in Marketing, distribution channels, Product and operational support areas.
  • Work closely with the Digital Production Practice to ensure that all digital channels and customer touchpoints remain consistent and onbrand.
  • Undertake testing, proofofconcept builds and release checking in coordination.
  • Assist stakeholders in understanding digital campaign outcomes, statistics and ongoing analytic metrics.

You will have confidence to work with multiple stakeholders across ASB departments and levels on diverse projects and the ability to work independently, exercise patience and prioritise workload to changing needs.

  • Knowledge of CMS/website content authoring (AEM preferred)
  • Understanding of good web practice principles and accessibility
  • Adobe Photoshop/Dreamweaver basic level
  • Positivity and resilience under pressure
  • Ability to communicate technically complex scenarios in a simple, direct way
  • Understanding of risk management and escalation, able to work within strict process guidelines
  • Desire to learn new skills and share expertise with others
