About the Role
Heading up a passionate coaching and administration team, leadership is a core component of the role, along with the ability to build relationships and influence behaviours across the wider club. In this role you will be accountable to the Olympia Gymnastic Sports Board to provide effective leadership to all aspects of the club.
The General Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, maintaining financial health, implementing strategy, and operational management of the club. This role involves ensuring the club provides high-quality gymnastics programs, fostering a positive and inclusive environment, and promoting the club within the community.
About You
- Five years' recent experience in a leadership role (preferably in sports management or general management) with the ability to lead and develop highly performing and engaged teams.
- High level of commercial acumen, with sound judgement and decision-making skills.
- An expert communicator, adept at crafting messages that are clear, concise and engaging.
- Excellent relationship management skills and an understanding of how to truly partner with stakeholders to ensure delivery of business objectives.
- Tech savvy with the ability to pick up new systems and implement improvements and efficiencies.
- Thrives in fast paced, ambiguous environments and comfortable with managing change.
- Committed to maintaining a continuous improvement environment.
