Key Responsibilities:
Fabricate and install metal structures and components such as metal fences, gates, railings, and more.
Read and interpret blueprints.
Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and join metal pieces.
Occasionally perform other property maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, and landscaping.
Ensure that all work meets safety and quality standards.
Inspect welded surfaces and structures to ensure quality and durability.
Repair and maintain welding equipment.
Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:


3+ years of experience as a welder or with a formal qualification in welding (level 3 or level 4) and have completed an apprenticeship.

Strong welding skills in MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
Experience with hand and power tools.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
Strong communication skills.
Must have a clear driver's license and be able to drive (work sites in multiple areas within Auckland).
Can use a smartphone to locate working sites.

What We Offer:
Competitive hourly rate ranging from $30 to $35.

Stable income with a permanent, ongoing position (at least 30 hours per week, up to 40 hours; note you may be required to work during peak times).
