We are looking for a Scrum Master who is responsible for guiding and coaching teams and the wider organisation in lean-agile values, principles and practices.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Coach teams and the wider organisation on the adoption of Agile values, principles and practices as well as adopting a learning & growth mindset.
- Coach product owners on backlog management, prioritisation and practices that lead to building the right thing for our customers.
- Ensure that the teams and organisations chosen practices are being effectively followed.
- Participate in the designing of strategy for adoption of Agile across the organisation.
- Positively influence resolution of problems and issues that impede team flow.
- Validate and ensure that deliverables meet business needs while delivering a great customer experience and value adding Insights.
- Facilitate meetings, ceremonies and workshops using the appropriate practices, frameworks, and models.
- Help the team to focus on progress toward their sprint goals while also focusing in on flow and quality.
- Manage team capacity and demand with Product Owners and Chapter Leads while ensuring space for innovation and learning.
- Develop and communicate team metrics to help the team and wider organisation focus in on flow and quality.
- Mentor newer Scrum Masters as well as assisting in the overall development of the Scrum Master capability within the organisation.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Tertiary Qualification in Information Technology and/or Business or equivalent industry experience and / or Certified Scrum Master Desired
- Proven experience working as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach
- Experience coaching teams to move towards becoming high performing teams
- Advanced facilitation and workshop skills
- Knowledge of Agile product development and technical practices
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, critical thinking, consultative and communication skills
- Sound knowledge of how information and technology contribute to business performance
- Experience working with geographically distributed teams
