JetPark Hotel Auckland Airport is a four star plus hotel 5 minutes from Auckland International Airport. We love creating an experience of genuine hospitality, care, and excellent service for guests. Along with 221 guest rooms we have an award winning restaurant, 2 bars and large conference center plus a café so this role will bring you lots of variety day-to-day

We are seeking a passionate 'hands-on' supervisor who loves showing off the art of true food and beverage service to our guests and is a brilliant trainer. You will assist the F&B Manager to lead the F&B team, ensuring a high standard of service, training staff, coordinating and directing the service times, and helping the restaurant and conference facilities to optimize revenue.

To be successful in this role:

  • You have proven experience in all things F&B, with at least 1-2 years' experience held in a supervisory role.
  • You have strong technical skills in restaurant and bar service, barista skills, stock control, have trained junior staff, and are able to implement new processes and systems.
  • You have outstanding customer service skills including guest complaint resolution and you can wow our guests with your great personality
  • Attention to detail with an organized and methodical approach to your work - this is a busy role and plenty of "multi-tasking" is required.
  • You are a confident leader, have initiative and a good problem solver.
  • Can contribute innovative ideas with a drive for continuous improvement.
  • You are willing to learn our hotel POS and PMS systems.
  • You have excellent communication skills, a professional manner and are great at selling and up-selling.
  • You are passionate about hospitality and find joy in bringing a smile to each and every guest.
  • You are willing to work for 5 rostered shifts per week, including weekends, day and evening shifts. Alternatively we are open to applicants who only want part-time work.
