Our guides take guests on a fun and informative boat excursion, interacting around icebergs and up to the mighty terminal face of NZ's largest glacier.

Our guides are responsible for sharing their knowledge and enthusiasm for the area with our guests.

No day on the Tasman Lake is ever the same and this offers variety and challenge like no other role.


What do we need from you?


While previous experience is an advantage, we provide all training to ensure that you are up to speed with our products, our services, our standards, and our expectations.


  • Passion for the outdoors and eagerness to learn and stepup.
  • The ability to manage a group and strong public speaking and communication skills.
  • A strong sense of responsibility, commitment, and reliability with the flexibility to work across different tours and products.
  • A cando attitude and a willingness to learn
  • Flexible with a cando approach and looking to learn throughout your time with us.
  • A strong desire to strive for excellence

To stand out:

  • Previous guiding experience
  • Previous boating or water sports experience
  • Previous first aid experience
  • Class 2 and P endorsement
