ABOUT THE ROLE


They are searching for an experienced and confident Solution Architect who can bring their mix of technical skills and Stakeholder management experience to be the bridge between the two sides.

You will have hands on experience in the tech space, can speak tech speak and can easily translate it to those who can't.

You will have Stake Holder Management experience where you have delivered solutions at a very high level and can demonstrate examples of your success.


DUTIES

Solution Architect:
Guide and support delivery teams towards best-practice digital and ecommerce solutions that:

  • Meet immediate project or sprint needs.
  • Meet nonfunctional requirements (resilience, availability, reusability, performance, etc)
  • Are well described and understood by all parties

Stakeholder Management:
Ensure that business and IT stakeholder expectations are well supported, and that their concerns are reflected in the work produced

  • Collaborate with all parties to achieve consensus where possible and elevate decisions appropriately when not.
  • Ensure that solution tradeoffs and architectural decisions are clearly documented, understood and agreed by all communicating intent, value proposition and target architecture in a way that is easily understood by others.

Elaborating on the platform vision:
Contribute to an elaborate on the future-state platform vision of my clients retail customer architecture landscape

  • Contribute in coordination with the Principal Architect
  • Solutions to progress and help form our future state vision for retail customer

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Strong technological leadership, skills and experience of customer facing digital and ecommerce and supporting technologies (ideally in a grocery context).
  • A deep understanding of architecture concepts, tools and methods
  • A generalised understanding of related areas including customer marketing, loyalty, campaign management and customer analytics, real time processing
  • You will have the ability to effectively maintain relationships and influence your immediate team and key stakeholders from both business, enterprise architecture and broader technology areas.
  • You will have strong modelling and diagramming skills, and be highly proficient in UML. Business Modelling skills in ArchiMate or similar is essential
