  • We have an exciting opportunity for a Grader Operator to join the Higgins Team on the Eastern Busways Alliance (EBA).The alliance includes Auckland Transport, Fletcher Construction, ACCIONA, AECOM and Jacobs. We are delivering a significant project for Auckland, creating separate lanes for new highfrequency bus services to connect people from Botany, Pakuranga and the surrounding suburbs with the rail network in Panmure.

The project includes cycling and walking paths, safety, environment and roading improvements, and a Reeves Road flyover, giving people a range of travel options and more reliable journey times.

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Proven experience operating a grader on civil construction projects
  • Experience operating other heavy machinery is advantageous e.g. Diggers, Rollers, Watercart
  • Minimum Class 1 Licence with WTR endorsements
  • Willing to be hands on and support your team with a variety of construction tasks, if required
  • Strong focus on health and safety not only for yourself, your colleagues but also the public
