The Opportunity
We are looking for a

Sequencer (Yard Dispatcher) to join our team in Palmerston North and support our yard and dispatch operations by maximizing our site logistics. You will either be working during our

day shift (7am - 5pm) or

night shift (1pm to 11pm) Monday to Friday. Some paid overtime work will be required.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Sequencing
  • Manifesting trucks
  • Computer work and record keeping
  • Assist yard team with picking
  • Liaising with drivers, the yard, management etc

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have the following:

  • Experience in a logistics, trucking or warehousing environment
  • Experience with planning, sequencing, dispatching
  • Good computer skills with an attention to detail
  • Can cope under pressure in a busy but supportive and friendly team environment
  • A Forklift License is advantageous (but not mandatory)
  • Knowledge of trucks and loading would be helpful
