Here at Lumino Darfield, we're your local dental practice, seeking a key member of our hygiene team to complement our wonderful team. Working alongside three dentists, dental assistants and a wonderful practice manager, you'll be stepping into a supportive environment with collaboration at its core.

Role

As one of our Oral Health Therapist or Hygienists, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining the oral health well-being of our community. You will be responsible for providing top-notch hygiene services and education around oral health, as well as promoting preventative care.

  • 2-3 days are available, we are flexible as to which days
  • Competitive compensation based on experience - either commission-based or hourly rate can be discussed
  • Dedicated hygiene room

Location

Darfield is the main town between Christchurch and the West Coast region.

  • A gateway to the scenic Waimakariri and Rakaia rivers and the Southern Alps

Person

You'll fit easily into our practice if you have:

  • At least one year of hygiene experience in a private practice
  • Availability to work 2-3 days per week
  • Outstanding communication skills for patient education and rapport-building
  • A natural team spirit and a genuine interest in contributing to the warmth of the team
  • Exceptional attention to detail in all aspects of clinical practice

To be successful in the role you will need to hold registration with the New Zealand Dental Council (NZDA) as well as a current Annual Practicing Certificate.
