Te Tūranga | The Role


We are looking for a Risk Adviser and a Senior Risk Adviser for this project-based assignment to progress the risk work within the FMA.

This role is with a small, relatively new team (Evaluation, Risk and Governance).

This is a roll your sleeves up and do the risk mahi. You'll work with teams across FMA, facilitating a better understanding of risks, to help FMA achieve its objectives.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Facilitate the identification, analysis, and understanding of operational risks.
  • Map out and create an integrated view of risk controls using FMA's risk management frameworks, processes, and tools.

He kōrero mōu | About you
You will bring with you a strong understanding of risk management methodologies, along with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Most importantly you will be practical and hands-on and deliver these key initiatives. You will have demonstrated curiosity, questioning and critical analysis skills to problem solve and make well informed decisions.
